During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or

Sewer Pump Design& Calculations–Comments from Mike DeLilla, Senior Utilities Engineer
1)A concreteanti-flotation base is required for the grinder pump assembly.
a.The proposed grinder pump location does not allow for the concrete base. Please relocate
the pump such that thepump, assembly and base are are located within the subject site.
b.Please showhowthe installation of theassembly and base will occur without obtaining a
constructioneasement.
c.Pleaseshow and note the base on the plans.
2)The grinder pump shall be located such that the pump is within 15 feet of a hose bib.
a.Please relocate the pump accordingly.
b.Please show the location of the hose bib on the Civil plan sheet.
3)Theplans call out a simplex easyelectric factory prewired basin.Please add a detailof the basin to
the plans.
4)Please fill out/highlightthe Zoeller Pump submittal packageso that it is clear what is being
installed.
5)Please notethe location of the alarm panelthat is to belocated withinthe home.
6)Please show the location of the red, flashing, alarm lamp. Please note that the lamp shall be visible
from the nearest public right-of-way.
7)Please add a note to the plans that thepump control panel shall be NEMA 4X cabinet.
8)Please show the location of the NEMA 4X cabinet. Please note that the cabinet must be in direct
line of sight from the pump station.
9)Please show the location of the power (crossing) in the profile detail.

10)Please show how the installation of the force line will occour without the need of obtaininga
constructioneasement.Per the plans it appears that to install the force line would require some
trenching on the north property.
Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised plansand associated documents with a written response to each
