2)6/25/14 –Comment was partially addressed. The plansshowaconnectionto an unknown
‘receptacle’.Is the ‘receptacle’on private property or within the City right-of-way? If the
retaining wall drains are to connect to this ‘receptacle’the existing functionof the ‘receptacle’will
have to be determined(i.e. whatwater is it collecting, where does the water discharge to, etc.).
Instead of connection to the ‘receptacle’,you might consider directingthe runoff from the
retaining wall drains to aseparateonsite drywellor spreader trench(ifapprovedby the
Geotechnical Engineer).
6/4/14 –Comment was partially addressed. A Geotechnical Report was provided stating the
Geotechnical Engineerapprovedthe water to discharge to the existing stormwater collection system.
a.Please show the location of the existing system.
b.Please show how you will collect the retaining wall drainage andpatio surface water runoff to the
onsite system (i.e. pipe material, pipe size, invert elevations, etc.)
c.Please provide documentation that shows the existing system can accept the additional flows.

e.Please show the water (from meter to house) and sewer (from sewer mainto house) so that utility
separation can be verified.
4/11/14 Comment: Please show where the drainage for the walls will discharge to. The discharge
location must be approved bythe Geotechnical Engineer.
Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised plansand associated documents with a written response to each
