Breske PE. -The existing detention system was sized using theoldCity of Edmonds sizing chart, which required 56’ of 18” diameter pipe for an impervious area of 4000 sf (see attached outdated chart) this met impervious surfaces constructed in 2003 of 3950 sf. th October 15–The above comments need to be addressed. Please make certainthe reportand the site plan is consistent, reflecting an existing detention system of 56’ in lengthwith18” diameter pipe. Please make certain the Detention System Sizing Report Exhibit and site plan are consistentin showing the existing detention system as well as the proposed. th November 24–Noted,the existing detention system is 60’long, though the above comments not only were intended to address the difference in detention sizing, they were to get a consistentproposed detention system shown on both the Site Plan and within the Detention System Sizing Report (Appendix A). There are inconsistencesbetween the two plansfor what is proposed. DATE FAXED/E-MAILED11/24/2014PAGE __1__ OF __2_ a.Detention System Sizing Report(Appendix A)-The detention system shownwithin the Sizing Report is acorrect way of installation. It shows aproposeddetention system tying into the existing detention system by way of catch basin, not affectingthe existing system. The catch basinin line with the proposed system allows for cleaning of the proposed system. Again, this is correct,if you chose to install according to the System Sizing Report, please make sure the submitted Site Plan reflects this proposal. b.Site Plan -The site plan proposes twonew detention systems side by side and connecting to the existing detention system at two locations(not atthe catch basin). The proposed system should not interferewith the existing systemand should not reduce its retention. You will need to provide detail as to how you intend to connect the proposed with the existing detention system. This shallbe by way of catch basinor prefabricated joints. Please also show the location of risers and cleanouts onthe proposed detention system. If you intend to install accordingto this proposed system please make sure the Detention System Sizing Report is updated to reflect the Site Plan. (Please see attached Site Plan & Detention System Sizing Report comparison.) th 8)October 15–Please provide on the site plans, the rim and invert elevations for the proposed risers and existing catch basins. th November 24–Though rim & invert elevations have been provided forexisting catch basins, it is not clearas to where and what these elevation are, can you please identify what is entering and exitingtheexisting catch basins. Also, please provide rim and invert elevations for proposed catch basinsandrisers. th OK 9)October 15– Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised plans/documents to a Development Services Coordinator. Please contact me at 425-771-0220 if you have specific questions regarding these plan corrections. DATE FAXED/E-MAILED11/24/2014PAGE __1__ OF __2_
