Project: Salish Crossing -Top Pot
Scope: New Commercial building.
During review of the plans for the above project, it was found that the following
information, clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as
to where the changes can be found on the plans, please cloud the changes or additions.
It is preferred that only the affected plan sheets be resubmitted:
1. Your proposed revision requires the addition of an automatic fire sprinkler and
automatic fire alarm.
International Fire Code (2015) Section 903.2.1.2 Group A-2. An automatic
sprinkler system shall be provided for fire areas containing Group A-2
occupancies and intervening floors of the building where one of the following
conditions exist:
1. The fire area exceeds 5,000 square feet.
2. The fire area has an occupant load of 100 or more.
3. The fire area is located on a floor other than a level of exit discharge serving
such occupancies.
Your resub/revision has an occupant load greater than 100 and has a fire area
that is located on a floor other then a level of exit discharge.
2. Please call out on the plans:
Deferred submittals: Automatic Sprinkler Permit, Fire Connection Permit and
Fire alarm permit.
