During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications would need to be addressed. All Handouts and Standard Details referred to in these
comments can be accessed at our website: www.edmondswa.gov by choosing the “Search” tab and
“Permits and Development”.
Demolition and Erosion Control Plan
1.There are no erosion control measures around the sawcut areas. Please provide direction on how to
protect the walkway and/or the water from sawcutting debris.
2.Add erosion control standard details consistent with City of Edmonds details when applicable to plans.
Cheyenne Restrooms
3.Street trees are required along Admiral Way. Please re route the sewer to avoid removal of the existing
tree. It may be necessary to direct connect to the sewer main.
4.Please show an 8” clean out at the property line. The clean out shall have a 12” cast iron lamphole cover
with ½” hexbolts. Provide rim/invert.
5.Sewer lateral shall be 8” PVC. Please label.
6.Not Required: If no other considerations, a suggestion that less expensive pvc be used for the sewer on
site as long as 1 ½ feet of cover from top of pipe is attainable.
7.The Cheyenne connection of the water service line is to a city public main. Please label the water main
and note size, 8” CI. A new service from the main is required to be metered. Show location of new
meter and call out size.
Taos Restrooms
8.If the Taos is using the existing water service connection and not tapping the main, please label wsl as
existing and call out size/material. If tapping the main, show the full length of the new wsl and the
location where the tap will be and show new meter.
9.Please label the new sewer clean out referenced by note #5 as 6” with a 12” cast iron lamphole cover
with ½” hexbolts.

10. Please remove standard details and replace with City of Edmonds standard details. All our Standard
Details are available on our website at edmondswa.com. Include standards for sidewalk, trenching,
water and sewer service lines. Also include the City’s sewer manhole channeling detail if it is
determined that a connection will still be made to the manhole on Admiral Way.
Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised plans/documents to a Development Services Coordinator. Please
