DRAINAGE PLAN –COVER SHEET (SHEET 1 of 4) 1)Add the utility purveyor information. 2)Remove the grading quantities from this sheet and place on the TESC and Grading Plan (sheet 3). 3)Remove the impervious surfaces from this sheet and place on the Drainage Plan (sheet 2). 4)Construction Sequence #5 –Remove ‘CoverCB grates w/silt fabric’ and make a new note ‘Install temporary sediment trap for catch basin.’. 5)After the new #5 in the Construction Sequence, add a new note that the stormwater system is to be installed prior to installation of any impervious surfaces. DRAINAGE PLAN–DRAINAGE PLAN (Sheet 2of 4) 1)Revise this plan sheet to say“Drainage and Utility Plan”. 2)Please add a note that if the walkwayalong the frontagedoes notmeet ADA standard slopesand/or is damaged it will need to be brought into compliance with this permit. 3)Please remove the existing driveway that is being removed from this plan sheet. If it is decided that thewater meter would be better placed elsewhere, keep in mind thewater service line must have a minimum of 3’ of horizontal separation from the dry utilities. 2)Remove theold water line from the plans. SEWER 1)Please bold the new sewer line, so thatit is clear that it will be installed with the new single family permit. 2)The plans indicate that thenew sewer line is to connect to a cleanout. This is not permitted. Please show theconnection a minimum of 3’from the cleanout. Labelthe connection at the main as a romac inserta tee. 3)Thecleanout near the home is close enough for future drainage of the pool; therefore, the cleanout located near the pool can be removed if you choose. Revise as needed. STORM 1)Add the impervious surface chart(as shown on the Site Plan)to this phan (sheet 2). 2)Thearea adjacent tothe pool is shown as landscape; however, per the architectuals, the area appearsto be a hard surface. Please revise the plans and impervious surface calculations accordingly. 3)Please clearly show how ALL the runoff from the driveway is to be collected (i.e. curbs, directional flow arrows, etc.)on this plan sheet. 4)On the proposed plans the storm line is crossing the City sewer main too close to an existing cleanout. Please show the storm main crossing a minimum of 3’from the cleanout. 5)The spot elevations/topographic linesindicate that there is ahigh pointbetweenthe upper driveway and the lower driveway.How will the runoff from theupper driveway discharge to thecatch basin in the lower driveway? Please revise the plans accordingly. 6)For the City to approve plans that shows stormwater dischargingto BNSF Right-of-Way, a permitfrom BNSFis required. Although a tracking number has been provided, a copy of the approved permit from BNSF is required. Please note that if the site has more than 5000 sq.ft.of impervious surfaces, all stormwater management systems must be designed by a licensed engineer. 7)Please remove the references to the Snohomish County Code from the drainage report. DRAINAGE PLAN -TESC & GRADING PLAN (Sheet 3 of 4) 1)Please referenceCity Standard Details.There is onlyreference to the standard detail E1.3. Please reference the standard detail for the siltfenceand construction entrance. 2)The leader for the silt fence is pointingto the sewer line. Please revise accordingly. 3)SWPP NOTES: a.Note #3 –Detain Flows should refer to how stormwater is handled on the site during construction. Please revise the note accordingly. b.Note #5–Gravel is not an approved soil stabilization.Please revise accordingly(i.e. mulch, bark, etc.). c.Note #6 –Remove the word ‘Gravel’for reasons stated regarding Note #5. 4)Although changes have been made it still appears thatportionsof the driveway may exceed14% slope. Please revise the driveway such that there is no point on the driveway that exceeds 14% slope. Alternatively, a waiver up to 20% can be obtainedthrougha Type IInotification. Please referto the Edmonds City and Community DevelopmentCode 18.80.060. DRAINAGE PLAN-PROFILE AND DETAILS(Sheet 4of 4) 1)Please remove the Diffuser Tee detail from this sheet unless approved by BNSF. If the detail is not approved by BNSF, please provide a detail showing what is approved by BNSF. 2)EdmondsStandard Detail D1.3 is shown on sheet 3. Please remove it from this sheet. Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised plansand associated documents with a written response to each item to a Permit Coordinator.
