Hello,
I am currently reviewing the subject building permit application for the engineering division and had
a question for you regarding the decking material and existing patio area.
On the framing plan, the posts and beams are called out as treated lumber, but I would also like to
confirm that the top decking is wood with spacing for stormwater to flow through. The framing plan
also indicates an existing cement patio, but this is not shown on the site plan, so I’m not sure the
extent of the patio. Does the existing patio extend under the entire deck and stairs?
