While on-site we noted the following: th The contractor was paving along 240 St. SW. The area to be paved today was approximately 90 long and 5 to 6 wide. We observed that the subgrade for the pavement consisted of import crushed rock. The contractor was compacting the crushed rock with a double drum roller. The subgrade appeared firm and stable to the machinery traffic. The contractor was adding moisture to the subgrade as needed with a hose. All compaction tests taken, as indicated below, met the site compaction requirements.
