Good afternoon,
Please find attached the Building Division plan review comments for your projects.
Thank you for taking the time to incorporate the changes made in response to earlier plan reviews into the most recent
submittals. That, along with your effort to submit plans for the same structures on different lots at the same time, really
helps to move the process along.
The review comment found in the attachments appears to be due to a change in the roof configuration to meet the
Planning Division height requirements, as many of the beam calculations seemed to be for loading conditions different
from that anticipated by the represented construction. I reviewed the plans as submitted. If the proposed beam in the
calculations worked, no comments were necessary (even if a smaller beam would suffice). However, no information
was given for the engineered elements like the girder and hip master trusses, and it was the point load from the large
girder truss that appeared to not have been accounted for.
Reviews by other divisions, such as Planning, Engineering, or Fire, may result in additional comments.
