During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Please redline the plans and attach calculations to expedite
review. Please resubmit to Theresa Umbaugh, Permit Coordinator.

5. Show existing return air duct(s). See IMC 403 which states, mechanical ventilation shall be
provided by a method of supply air and return or exhaust air. The amount of supply air shall be
approximately equal to the amount of return and exhaust air .The system to convey ventilation
air shall be designed and installed in accordance with Chapter 6. If you are proposing to
undercut doors, provide calculation for each room to show that the net free area of theundercut
dimension will equal the supply air.
