City of Edmonds plans.docxCity of Edmonds Reply to questions on permit review for Ombu Salon Item (1 & 6) All bathrooms are supplied with an exhaust fan with a wall mounted on / off switch minimum 60 CFM per bathroom. Each bathroom will be supplied with one (1) each “supply air” equal to the CFM of the exhaust fan. Item (2 & 7) Intake of fresh air for the upstairs HRV units is located north bathroom wall (marked with green) this will duct over to the HRV unit’s and will flow thru the HRV heat exchanger core in the attic and distribute fresh warmed air out to the “supply air vents” in the ceilings marked with green “X in a box” on drawings stale return air (marked on drawing in green solid box by stairway to downstairs) will be ducted back to the HRV, then ducted to HRV exhaust locations on east side of upstairs bathroom wall (marked in green) Item (3) Intake of fresh air for down stairs HRV units is located on west wall (marked in green) this will be ducted over to the HRV units that will be installed in the attic above the down stairs spa area. The exhaust stale air will be ducted out to the west wall (marked in green) above the location where the three condensing units will be placed. Item (8) Each HRV is now numbered with corresponding numbered supply air and return air locations of incoming fresh air and stale exhaust air described in above items (2 7 & 3) Item (9) Was submitted a couple of days ago with all the spec sheets equipment that will be installed is highlighted in yellow. Item (10) According to the factory the unit spec’d does meet or exceed IMC table. Item (11) Supply air for the upstairs main area(s) will be supplied by the Heat pump that will be installed on the south outside wall and will be ducted to the supply vents in the ceiling (marked as green box with green x in them) Item (12) Exhaust fans will be installed above hair wash area with exhaust venting to the outside on west wall marked in green. Item (13) Intake air for HRV(s) downstairs spa areas is located on west wall marked in green. Exhaust will be located on east wall above the location for the outdoor mini split systems this is marked in green as well. Item (14, 15) will be adding one (1) HRV unit for downstairs office area contractor is supplying wall mount electric heater spec sheet was submitted 2/13/2019 Venting for fresh air and exhaust area are located in area of other HRV units for downstairs. Exhaust for laundry room will have same type of exhaust fan as bathrooms with on/off wall switch. Item (16) Outside fresh air will feed thru the three ton heater in attic marked in blue there is an existing incoming air duct in the roof that previously used on a HRV system to the old house Heater will be located right above the stairway to the office. Vents are marked in green and labeled “8” Item (17) Return air opening is labeled “8” right next to staircase to downstairs. This will feed back to the inline unit in attic
