STOP WORK UNTIL AUTHORIZED TO CONTINUE BY CITY INSPECTOR
1.Remove risers from the City right-of-way.
2.There is a cast iron cap locatedunder the cast iron lamphole cover for the cleanout that is in the
sidewalk; however, the cap cannot be removed. The cleanout must be accessible such that the
cap is easily removable.
3.Remove socks from the catch basin so that they can be inspected.
4.Make sure all catchbasins in the right-of-way and onsite are clean (the catch basin on site has
debris in it).
5.Make sure that all risers, pick holes, etc. are mudded within in the catch basins.
6.The individual patches within the right-of-way must be combined into one patch from gutter to
gutter.
7.Provide compaction reports for trenches within the right-of-way.
8.The ramp located west of the new sidewalk is not ADA compliant. Either revise the ramp such
that it meets ADA or remove the curb/gutter and continue the 6” curb/gutter from the new
curb/gutterto the existing curb/gutter west of site. Then connect the asphalt from the new
sidewalk to the existing driveway west of the site.
9.The east driveway approach cannot be wider than 20’. Remove and replace the curb/gutter east
of the throat of the driveway such that the curbheightis ramped up tomatch the height of the
existing curb to the east of the project site.The throat of you driveway will provide atransition
from the sidewalk to the road. Therefore, when you replace the curb/gutter east of the driveway,
you may reduce the wing to 3’. After the concrete wing the area east of the wing and behind the
curb shall be replaced with landscaping.
10.The east driveway must be paveda minimum of 20’from the back of sidewalk into the property.
Please note that the driveway can also only be 20’in width. Currently where the gravel is placed
the driveway is wider than 20’.
11.The City crews will TV the new sewer lateral to verify that lateral is acceptable.We will follow
up with any corrections.
