DRC NOTES for– DRC20170018, 182XX Andover Street, Edmonds - Single Family

The following requirements will apply taking into consideration the previous approved
short plat:
The distance to the closest fire hydrant is greater than 300’, in lieu of installing an
addition fire hydrant; a residential fire sprinkler system meeting the requirements
of NFPA 13D is required regardless of normal fire area calculations.
The current access road is “existing/non-conforming”, in lieu of road upgrades, fire
lanes/no parking signs will be required along the fire access road from Andover
Street to the end of the road, including the current turn-around. See attached City
of Edmonds, Department of Fire Prevention fire lane standard.
