The Edmonds Chamber of Commerce is pleased the Port Commission approved the Harbor
Square Master Plan because it reflects atransparent and methodical process tocreate a vision
for sustainable economic vitality for the Edmonds community into the future. The Harbor
Square Master Plan is path forward, that strikes a reasonable balance between economic
development while preserving the unique values of Edmonds. It is a long term plan that will
create new business opportunities, jobs, and new revenues for the City. The Edmonds Chamber
of Commerce support's the Port's process moving forward, and strongly encourages its
approval by the City Council later this yeac"
The Edmonds Chamber of Commerce was chartered in 1907 and is a voluntary organization which
serves over 380 business and professional leaders in Edmonds and South Snohomish County. The
chamber's mission is to promote the economic vitality of the greater Edmonds business community
through advocacy, leadership and education. The organization also serves to encourage unified
public support and initiate action for the sustainability of our rich quality of life in our community
and state.
