Hi Aaron,
You can remove and replace the vine maple as long as the replacement tree meets our minimum
size requirements of ECDC 20.13.015.B (1.5” caliper for deciduous trees, 8’ minimum height for vine
maples and other multistemmed trees, 6’ minimum height for evergreen trees). In order to
document this change, please bring in your copy of the landscape plan so that we can redline your
plan as well as the City copy with the change. When you come in, you can let me know what
species you are proposing to change the tree to so that we can add it to the plans.
Let me know when it would be best for you to come in, and we can schedule an appointment.
