1.3/1/10 Comment was partially addressed. Thank you for moving the sign 19’ to the south.
However, the sight triangle needs to be taken from a drivers persepective. Please revise the sight
triangle to show sight distances met from the drivers vantage point. Approximately 3’ behind the
stop bar.
2/23/10 Comment: It appears that Sign 1 will create a site distance hazard for eastbound traffic on
Howell St.
a.Please either move the sign west or south, so that AASHTO sight distance requirements are
met for eastbound traffic. To achieve this, the sign shall be located such that, when stopped
a driver is able to see a minimum of 270’ south
at the stop bar on Howell St., (using the
