The City has received your letter of May 20, 2011 informing us of AT & Ts intention to modify the
existing equipment located on the City owned property at 8505 Bowdoin Way. I have reviewed the
Facilities Lease agreement and an amendment to the agreement is necessary to approve this work.
During review of the subject submittal it was found that the following information is needed to complete
the approval process:
1. The agreement requires that a restoration bond be held for the duration of the lease and for one year after the
equipment is removed. The bond must be equal to at least 100% of the estimated cost of removing the
Lessees equipment and facilities and to restore the property to its preconstruction condition. At this time the
City is not holding a bond for AT & T equipment on this property therefore the bond amount required will be
equal to 100% of the prevailing costs of the removal for all of the AT & T equipment located at 8505 Bowdoin.
Please submit a cost estimate for review. (Agrmt Section 25)
2. Please provide a current certificate of insurance naming the City as an additional insured. (Agrmt Section
22)
3. Please submit the 2011 yearly fee of $ 8326.73 (7379.24 x 12.84% leaseholders tax).
