During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications would need to be addressed. All Handouts referred to in these comments can be accessed at
our website: www.ci.edmonds.wa.us under City Government / Development Services Department /
Engineering Division then scroll down to Handouts:
1.The proposed drawings shows the city utilities; however, the following needs to be added or
corrected:
a.Show all City utilities within the right-of-way adjacent to the proposed construction area.
Water is located on the west side of Talbot Rd and Storm exists on both sides. Please revise
plans accordingly.
b.Please add dimensions to the plans at the 90 degree bends and at the center of the proposed
run so that 5’separation from the City utilities can be verified.
2.There is a note on the plans that from the Carson to 17015 that the proposed Comcast line would
be 1’ deep. Is this correct?
3.It is noted on the plans that the proposed line will be open trench/bore 1’ behind road edge.
Please add a note to the plans that if the asphalt roadway is damaged during construction, a ½
width grind and overlay may be required.
4.Please add a note to the plans that if the roadway is undermined during construction and asphalt
patch and / or ½ width grind and overlay will be required.
Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised traffic control plans and associated documents with a written
