SUBJECT: Outdoor Bistro Dining
Dear Johanna Limbropoulous,
Summer has arrived and many businesses and patrons are now enjoying outdoor bistro dining. The Citys
Bistro Dining permit process has been improved to provide more efficient tracking of permits and
collection of annual and monthly fees to help you keep your business in compliance.
Please find enclosed an Annual Agreement to be submitted with your Bistro Dining permit renewal and
annual fee of $30. As sidewalks increase with activity it is important to adhere to the conditions of
approval for your Bistro Dining permit that help provide safe sidewalk dining and pedestrian passage.
Please take a moment to review the conditions stated in the Annual Agreement.
Also enclosed is a copy of the original permit dining site plan showing the dimensions of the dining area
as it was approved with the Bistro Dining permit. Please take a minute to check the drawing against your
current configuration on the sidewalk. If you find that the set up that works for you is a bit different from
the original, please redline the original sketch to show the new configuration. Check all measurements
from poles and other appurtenances to make sure they meet the conditions outlined in the agreement. The
revised drawing can be submitted to the Engineering Division for review and to update your permit file.
Please return a copy of the renewal agreement and updated dining site plan, along with the required
annual and monthly payments for your bistro dining permit by July 18, 2014. If you have an outstanding
balance it will show on the enclosed payment statement. We appreciate your timely attention to bringing
your account into compliance for the summer. If you have any questions regarding any of the information
