During review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please submit revised plans/documents including a written
response to each item below.
Resubmittals can be made at the Development Services Department on the 2nd floor of City Hall.
Permit Center hours are M, T, Th & F from 8am-4:30pm and on Wednesdays from 8:30am-noon.
City of Edmonds handouts, standard details, application and other forms, and development code
may be referenced on the City website: www.edmondswa.gov under Services/Permits and
Development.
1) Updated the site plan to show water service line and side sewer from the property line to the
house. A sewer asbuilt has been attached for your reference. If any portion of the side sewer
needs to be relocated on the exterior of the home, a side sewer permit will be required. Please
follow this link for the Side Sewer Permit Application form.
2) Please confirm what portions of the existing porch are to remain and which portions are to be
removed and replaced as part of the new dining room addition.
3) Confirm decking material. Is the deck proposed to be pervious or impervious? A wood slotted
deck or composite deck with spaces would be considered pervious.
4) Provide impervious surface area calculations. Removal of the existing structure down to bare
soil and then replacement with the new addition would count as new impervious area. Provide a
total of new impervious area. Stormwater management will be required if 2000sf or more
impervious is added or replaced on the site.
