During review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please submit revised plans/documents including a written
response to each item below.
Resubmittals can be made at the Development Services Department on the 2nd floor of City Hall.
Permit Center hours are M, T, Th & F from 8am-4:30pm and on Wednesdays from 8:30am-noon.
City of Edmonds handouts, new updated standard details with new reference numbers, application
and other forms, and development code may be referenced on the City website:
www.edmondswa.gov under Services/Permits and Development.
SITE. PLAN
1) The proposed location for the arborist truck and wood chipper in the City right of way
(ROW) is not approved due to the narrow street width and slopes.
2) The contractor shall utilize the gravel pad in the City ROW to the northeast, up Sound View
Place, for the truck and chipper (see photo below).
3) The truck and chipper shall be placed in the ROW, out of the travel lane. Using a portion of
the southwest -bound travel land shall be acceptable, provided a minimum of 10 feet of travel
lane remains on Sound View Place.
4) Please provide the City an updated site plan and traffic control for this location.
5) Applicant shall notify the affected property (18910 Sound View Pl) prior to start of work.
6) Fallen branches or wood chips shall not remain in City ROW following completion of work.
