Please submit revised plans/documents including a written response to each item below. Resubmittals can be made at the Development Services Department on the 2nd floor of City Hall. Permit Center hours are M, T, Th & F from 8am-4:30pm and on Wednesdays from 8:30am-noon. City of Edmonds handouts, updated standard details with new reference numbers, application and other forms, and development code may be referenced on the City website: www.edmondswa.gov under Services/Permits and Development. SEWER 1) The plans indicate that the existing ABS from the residence is proposed to be extended for the new addition outside the existing building footprint this is not permitted. The applicant may use ABS to connect to the proposed addition if the connection is made from within the existing building. • If the sewer connection for the proposed addition is to be made outside of the structure, a separate side sewer permit shall be required. Please submit a Side Sewer Permit Application. • If this the side sewer connection is made outside of the addition, please note the following shall be required: • SDR-35 with gasketed fittings • A cleanout will need to be installed within 2 feet of the structure. • Update the plans accordingly. WATER 1) Per the building department, the existing 3/4" water meter may be used as long as a 1 1/4" water service line is utilized. Please clarify if the size of the existing water line on the plans (if it is 1 1/4") or note that the water service line will be up -sized to 1 1/4". TESC 1) Show filter fence on the plans and incorporate and reference City standard detail ER-900. 2) Please provide the location of the temporary stockpile. Add a note that the stockpile is to be covered within 24 hours 3) Please add a note to the plans that all disturbed soils will be compost amended per BMP T5.13. Page 2 of 2
