During review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please submit revised plans/documents including a written
response to each item below.
Resubmittals can be made at the Development Services Department on the 2nd floor of City Hall.
Permit Center hours are M, T, Th & F from 8am-4:30pm and on Wednesdays from 8:30am-noon.
City of Edmonds handouts, New updated standard details with new reference numbers, application
and other forms, and development code may be referenced on the City website:
www.edmondswa.gov under Services/Permits and Development.
1) Show a cleanout in the vicinity of the hot tub for the draining of the hot tub.
a. Hot tubs cannot have a direct connection to sanitary sewer. Drainage of hot tubs
must be pumped to sewer system via cleanout.
b. The cleanout shall be located 20-30' from the hot tub.
c. Please revise the plans accordingly.
2) Submit Side Sewer Permit Application form if you need to install a cleanout.
3) Please show an AVB installed at the nearest fill location (hose bib).
4) Please add a note to the plans that all disturbed soils will be compost amended per BMP
T5.13.
