Description of proposal: (Fife Nos. P-08-461SM-08-47) Consolidated application to subdivide four
existing parcels into an eight lot formal plat along with a shoreline substantial development permit at
24223 76"' Avenue West_ The project is known as the Hill Lake Ballinger Plat_
Proponent: Laurie Hill (rep. Laurey Tobiason).
Location of proposal, including street address if any: Parcels addressed as 24223, 24221 and 24227
76"° Avenue West and an unaddressed parcel east of the addressed parcels directly adjacent to Lake
Ballinger. The tax .parcel numbers are 00488800601503, 00488800601502, 00488800601501 and
00488800702000. The site is just north of the intersection of 76`x' Avenue West and Lake Ballinger Way.
Lead agency: CITY OF EDMONDS
The City of Edmonds, acting as lead agency for this proposal, has determined that it does not have a
probable significant adverse impact on the environment. An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not
required under RCW 43.21C.030(2)(c). This decision was made after review of a completed
environmental checklist and other information on file with the City. This information is available to the
public on request.
This is not an approval of the proposed action, only a determination of the potential environmental impacts
of the proposal. The City of Edmonds has determined that the environmental impacts are adequately
addressed through the implementation of the City's Comprehensive Plan and the Edmonds Community
Development Code governing land -use standards, construction, clearing, grading and drainage control,
and critical areas. This determination is issued on the basis of compliance of the proposal with all
applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations and standards.
There is no comment period for this DNS.
