Dear Ms. Husby,
The City of Edmonds Fire Department has informed us of your structure fire that
occurred on May 29. We are sorry for your loss and thankful that no one was hurt. As a
result of information obtained from the fire district, the city's code enforcement officer
and the city's building inspector, I am also aware of the ongoing abatement process
occurring on the property.
The purpose of this letter is to inform you that my office is available to assist you in
obtaining the necessary building permits to make the needed repairs to the home.
Attached is a City handout describing the general permit process. Additional handouts
noted can be found on the City's website at www.ci.edmondsw.wa.us. Please feel free to
