Fire Notes BLD2016-0123.pdfKevin Zweber From: Kevin Zweber Sent: Thursday, February 04, 2016 6:30 PM To: 'caseyy@wolfeplumbinginc.com' Subject: Plan review notes Job #F15050, Meitzner Lot 40, 85th Place West Casey, I was reviewing the above sprinkler plan and had a few questions and comments. The system appears to be a passive purge (flow through) based on the layout and "System is looped at each floor with a domestic connection on each floor. 5.4.2.2(A)" written in the design criteria section. Please respond and confirm type of system. The City of Edmonds allows both flow through and stand alone 13D systems. In an effort to keep sprinkler cost down, the follow information may help you:. Flow through systems do not require back flow prevention. No Water flow device or exterior bell is required on a flow through system (13D 7.6) No spare heads, box or wrench is required on flow through systems (13D 5.1.1.2) Please provide 1/2 " drain plumbed to the exterior and pressure gauge. (13D 7.2.1) On exterior covered decks or patios, if plumbed for fuel fired appliances, provided sprinkler coverage (13D 8.3.5.1.2) Please let me know if you have any questions.
