During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Provide written responses to each comment and where
changes can be found on the plans. Please resubmit to Marie Harrison, Permit Coordinator.
1.If you plan to do the flag sign at the entry, the following comments must be addressed on the
plans. If you choose not to do the flag sign and do Option B instead, cross out all reference to
Option A flag sign on the plans:
a.Clearly show on the plans how the north leaf of the double doors will be provided
with a stop to meet IBC 1008.1.1 so that the door will open a minimum of 90º and
not hit the sign. Note what type of door stop is or will be provided.
b.Similarly, clearly show on the plans how the entry door to the subject office space
will open the full required 90º and not hit the sign.
c.Show/note how the sign is attached to the bracket.
