Westfall Subject: Re: Salish Crossing Comments Hi John, Please disregard the last Fire Access Plan SHEET A1.4 I sent you at 3PM Friday 2/22/13. Please find the new revised Fire Access Plan Sheet A1.4 attached. The fire lane has been moved to be closer to the building to be located in the 24' wide drive lane. At the Northwest terminus of the fire lane, the turning radius from the 19' wide drive asile is equal to the turning radius of the 24' asile. Also the move closer to the building would allow us more flexibility in the Northeast corner of the site for future development. This adjustment from the plan we discussed earlier this week should be fine because it 1. Moves the Fire Access Lane closer to the building and 2. provides a wider drive asile. Please let us know if this will work. Per our discussion and FD requirements, please make following changes to Sheet A1.4 1)Call out two PIVs on exterior of building(s). For A: It is approx. 30’ from SW corner of building behind gated fence. We will be deconflicting and landscaping in the gray box for access purposes. For B: It is approx spaces 8-9 (at Laundromat) on sidewalk. 2)Delete two FDCs called out to the north on Sunset. Only one FDC feeds both sprinklers, that is at the intersection of Sunset and Dayton. 3)Revise note “150’ “ instead of “ 300’ “. 4)Extend Fire Lane striping along outer parking area around corner to James St entry. 5)FIRE LANE-NO PARKING words to be painted on the pavement inside the lane. Letters to be a minimum of 12” high, 2” stroke, yellow in color and alternatively spaced every 50 feet. Perimeter of fire lane striped to 4” yellow. Let me know if questions. John J.
