We visited the site to evaluate the ins..allation of stormwater detention system for the residence, We

understand that the system is designed to accommodate stormwater runoff from up to 3,000 square
feet of impervious surface. The detention system was designed and constructed per the City of
Edmonds Standard Plan. The system is located by the northwest corner of the residence: The
drainage system uses two Type 1 L, CB16 catch basins. The catch basins are connected with a 24'
long, 24" diameter ABS polyethylene pipe with a 0.5% slope. In the second catch basin there is a
PVC control structure with a % inch diameter flow restriction orifice opening. The installed system
consisted of the following materials.
® A 24' long, 24 -inch diameter corrugated ABS polyethylene detention pipe had been installed.
® Two Type 1 L, CB16 catch basins
® A IT -13" long 44nch diameter PVC 12364 Type PSM SewerIEGCUT ASTM D3034 pipe.
® A 14'-6" long, 6 Inch SDR35 PVC 12454 ASTM D3034-08 Sewer pipe.
