RE: SIGN ILLUMINATION AT 107 5TH AVENUE N, SUITE 101
To Whom It May Concern:
I recently reviewed and approved a building permit for the Planning Division for the Edward Jones sign at
107 5th Avenue North (BLD -2010-0691). The sign was to be internally illuminated and mounted on the
wall as I notice has been done. However, I wanted to point out that according to ECDC 20.60.020.H, the
sign may only be illuminated until I IPM and must be turned off otherwise.
"No commercial sign shall be illuminated after 11: 00 p.m. unless the commercial enterprise is
open for business and then may remain on only as long as the enterprise is open. "
Unless the office is open afterward, please make sure the sign is turned off at 11 PM.
