Project: Lanning Addition/Remodel
Project Address: 18604 Soundview Drive
During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses to each comment as to how it
has been addressed, and where changes can be found on the plans. Please submit revised
plans/documents to Theresa Umbaugh, Senior Permit Coordinator.
1.Revise anchor bolt washer size to 3x3x.229.
2.Provide manufacturers information for R21 rigid insulation to show that it will fit in the 2x4
stud bay.
3.Specify exterior sheathing material.
4.Note existing siding material that new addition will match.
5.Note ceiling finish material.
6.Note ceiling insulation R-value.
7.Note size of crawlspace access.
8.Provide detail of deck ledger bolted to new foundation as noted on Sheet A3. This is non-
conventional construction, requiring the detail and calcs to be stamped and signed by a State
licensed Professional Engineer (one copy wet signed). Also provide a detail where the deck will
be bolted to the rim joist as shown on Section AA.
9.On Section AA revise 6 wood-earth dimension to be from the bottom of the sheathing/siding to
the ground.
10.Provide hurricane clips as each end of each truss.
11.Dimension depth of foundation below grade (18 min.).
12.The new entry roof framing with knee brace supports is also beyond the scope of the IRC and
must be designed and stamped by a State licensed Professional Engineer, including calcs (one
copy wet signed).
13.Dimension 4-0 braced wall panels on the floor plans (IRC 602.10).
