Lemm 6-10-09.pdf June 10, 2009 Leslie A Lemm th 19409 86 Ave. W. Edmonds, WA. 98026 Case: # ZE-09-46,47 (COD20090009) th Subject Property: 19409 86 Ave. W., Edmonds, WA. 98026 Dear Ms. Lemm, The City received a complaint regarding your home occupation at the subject property. An inspection was made on June 9, 2009 and there was a sign, more than one commercial vehicle and employees coming to the site. As you know, there are seven criteria that must be met to obtain an administrative home occupation permit. If a home occupation proposal doesn’t meet one or more of the criteria the property owner may apply for a conditional use permit as noted in the letter from Gina Coccia, Planner, in a letter to you dated May 27, 2008. As you acknowledged in your May 30, 2008 application amendment letter to the Planning Division, employees are not allowed to come to the property without a conditional use permit. You also noted on your application that only one commercial vehicle, also under 10,000 pounds gross weight would come to the site and there would be no sign. Corrective actions required by June 14, 2009: Please remove sign. · Only one commercial vehicle is allowed at or to the site at all times. This vehicle must also be · under 10,000 pounds gross weight. No employees can visit the site for any amount of time. · If you prefer to revise your administrative home occupation permit or apply for a conditional use · permit, please contact the Planning Division before implementing any changes. Please note that a home occupation permit can be revoked if the required criteria is not observed Please call me at 425-771-0220 ext. 1716 if you have any questions regarding this letter. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and assistance. Sincerely, Mike Thies Code Enforcement Inspector thies@ci.edmonds.wa.us c. G. Coccia, Planning
