Location: Right-of-Way in front of 620 View Place
Dear Mr. Loss,
The City has received a complaint regarding the topping and limbing of a tree adjacent to your
residence at 620 View Place in the City Right-of-Way (R-O-W). An inspection was made by
City Engineering staff and it was confirmed that the tree is in the City R-O-W. A R-O-W
Construction Permit is required for any party other than the City for removal or trimming of trees
located within City R-O-W.
In this particular case a permit could be issued because the tree appeared to have directly
interfered with the utility pole and overhead utility lines.
Therefore the City is requiring that a R-O-W Construction Permit be obtained (double fees will
apply) and the tree trunk be removed to be even with the top elevation of the street curb by June
15, 2007.
A copy of the Citys procedure for obtaining permit approval is enclosed. Thank you in advance
