On March 16, 2011, the City received your request for a time extension on the requirement to
complete the short plat improvements outside the 200 -foot shoreline jurisdiction for the
MacDonald short plat. A performance bond was posted on March 31, 2010 providing assurance
to the City that all short plat improvements outside the 200 -foot shoreline Jurisdiction would be
completed within 12-i-nonths. The 2 --lot short plat was recorded on January 18, 2011. To date,
no improvements within the 200 -foot shoreline jurisdiction have been completed.
On March IS, 2011, 1 replied to your request via email stating that the completion of the
improvements could be delayed; however, they would need to be completed prior to final
occupancy of the single family residence on the front lot (Lot 1). The building permit for Lot I
was issued on May 16, 2011. and will expire on May 16, 2011
At this time there are no known public health or safety concerns due to the delay in completing
the required short plat improvements. In addition, it does not appear as though the construction
of the single family residence on Lot I is nearing completion. For these reasons, the City finds it
acceptable to delay construction of the required short plat improvements until a date by which
the improvements must be installed to coincide with completion of the single family residence on
Lot I and/or Lot 2, or a public health or safety concern arises. As these parameters are fluid I am
,not able to give you concrete required completion date.
