Michel 8 Unit deferred submittal list 7-6-06.doc th July 6, 2006 Michel Construction Attn: Dwight McGrew th 7907 212 St SW #102 Edmonds, WA 98026 th RE: Separate Permits and Deferred Submittal list for 8 Unit Condo @ 249 4 Ave S Dear Dwight McGrew, In order to facilitate the submittal and review of the remaining deferred submittals on your project, below is a list of deferrals called out by your architect that include application time frames and review requirements. The owner of the building, general contractor or sub-contractor may apply and sign the permit application for these submittals. 1. Mechanical (HVAC), requires two sets of plans for review. A separate mechanical permit is required for all new mechanical equipment and ductwork, including gas fireplaces. See Attached City handout for minimum submittal requirements. Review takes approximately 3 weeks. 2. Fire Connection, requires 3 sets of plans for review. Review takes approximately 3 weeks. 3. Fire Sprinkler requires 3 sets of plans for review and may require outside peer review. If outside peer review is required it takes approximately 6-8 weeks; in house review 3 weeks. See attached City handout. 4. Fire Alarm, requires three sets of plans for review. See attached City handout. Submittal review takes approximately 3 weeks. 5. Water Meter, no plans are required. 2” water meter fee of $2,930.00 + 2” water meter connection fee of $7,264.00 + $100.00 street cut deposit fee for a total fee due of $10,294.00 for the water meter. 6. Listed and tested Fire Stopping Details/Assemblies. 7. Signs, requires three sets of plans for review. A separate permit is required for signage. See attached City handout. A submittal review takes approximately 1 week if Design Review is not required. 8. Emergency Guide (Fire Marshall). 9. Electrical permit, issued by State Labor and Industries, post on-site. 10. State Elevator Permit, post on-site. 11. Landscape Irrigation (from Public Works Dept.). 12. Maintenance Bonds. 13. Building Enclosure Certification letter from Building Enclosure Inspector per HB 1848. This is a general list that does not call out the minimum submittal requirements.
