Instead you have filed an application with the Building Division to demolish the shop (reference permit application BLD2008-0121) and you have also requested that the demolition permit be held and not issued until July 30, 2008 pending a personal medical procedure. Pursuant to your written request the City agrees to extend the deadline for Notice of Civil Violation compliance to July 30, 2008. The corrective action taken at this deadline will be: The City will issue the referenced demolition permit on July 30, 2008. You will have six months to complete the demolition work (January 30, 2009) and call for the required inspection. Be advised, Notice of Civil Violation fines continue to be stayed in the amount of $200.00. The City has the ability to reduce or waive these fines provided there is active compliance and a prompt resolution but failure to adhere to the demolition deadline of January 30, 2009 shall result in fines levied back to August 9, 2007. Because this enforcement action was initiated on August 16, 2006 there shall be no further extensions granted as 29 months is more than enough time to resolve this matter.
