Before I can sign off on it I need the following: 1.Statement on Accessory Dwelling Units: The Auditor’s office won’t accept documents that have writing in the one-inch margins, since it won’t microfiche well. Please submit the following: a.A signed and notarized Statement on Accessory Dwelling Units that does not have any of the signatures or names in the required one-inch margins on the sides and bottom and 3.5-inch top margin (blank form attached with mailed corrections). b.The fee submitted on May 31, 2006, for the recording was $42. After checking the fees for recording I see we charge a base of $15 plus $32 for the first page, which totals $47. I am sorry we did not collect the right amount earlier. We will need to collect the additional $5. 2.Covered Porch and Patio: Included in the file is a photograph and description from Real Property Associates for the mother-in-law unit showing what appears to be a covered porch off the utility room of the addition and a description that says “covered porch w/ patio.” Snohomish County appraisal records found in the file also show an 8-foot by 16-foot “wood” area off the addition that transitions to an 18-foot by 16-foot patio area between the addition and the attached garage. The addition permit site plan from 1986 only shows a “conc. slab” off the utility room door that is 7 feet wide (from the wall of the addition) and not as deep (from the wall of the existing house). No cover was approved with this permit. a.Please provide an accurate site plan showing the patios, decks and covers; (i)Include dimensions of these structures; (ii)Include distance from the property lines (setbacks); (iii)Provide total lot area; (iv)Give the lot coverage (of all structures with roofs); b.Add the cover for the porch to your existing permit: (i)Add complete construction details to the plans for the covered porch including size of footings, posts, roof framing, etc. Please contact Jennifer Readwin at (425) 771-0220, extension 1703 if you have any questions on this.
