Hello Ralph,
I noticed that the plumbing submittal is deferred, so I was a little confused when I looked
over the plumbing plan on sheet A-12. Also, it looks like just about every kitchen fixture
was connected to the outside grease interceptor (GI). Lets ensure that only the fixtures
that contribute grease to the collection system are connected to the GI to not give the
unnecessary hydraulic loading to the GI.
Please provide complete fixture and piping plans that show the appropriate fixtures
connected to the GI in the plumbing plans when they are submitted for the plumbing
permit. The non grease producing fixtures should be connected to the side sewer line.
I was able to cross reference many of the fixtures by looking at the plans in different
sections. However, some of the fixtures and equipment were not identified in the plans.
There were numbers identifying the fixtures and equipment, but no table identifying what
equipment or fixtures the numbers corresponded to in the plans.
I will enclose my earlier comments for guidelines on what fixtures should be connected
to the GI. Please contact me for questions and assistance.
