4/17/2015 — Retaining wall was not installed. Concrete extruded curb was used along the
steeper slope areas. City standard requires vertical curb within the City ROW. Inspections of
the curb have been done and a decision was made by the City Engineer and Public Works
Director to allow submittal of a performance bond, to be held for a period of 5 years, ensuring
the integrity of the curb. If at any point within the 5-year period the curb fails, it shall be
replaced with vertical curb.

15. 4/17/2015 — Please remove filter socks from catch basins within the ROW so inspection of the
CB's can be performed. Depending on the status of the single family site improvements, the
filter socks may need to be placed back in the CB's post inspection.
16. 4/17/2015 - All manhole lids at the vault shall be exposed, accessible and at grade. One
manhole was completely covered and another could not be opened due to the sod placement.

18. 4/17/2015 — The front entry wall/fence, development sign and irrigation system appear to be
wholly or partially located within the City right-of-way. Encroachments into the City right-of-
way require approval through an encroachment permit process. Please refer to City handout
E26 for additional information on this process and required documentation.
19. 4/17/2015 — Sewer flows out of the manhole in front of 7542 243rd appear to be slow/blocking
up. Has normal usage of the homes (dishwasher, laundry, etc.) at this end of the main occurred?
If not, then future normal flows should address the situation. If the homes are being used to full
capacity then this situation will need to be further assessed.
20. 4/17/2015 — Confirm all sewer manhole risers have been mudded.
21. 4/17/2015 — Stainless steel bolts are required on the drop bowl in the sewer manhole at the east
end of the project.
Please call for a re -inspection once the above corrections have been addressed. As the entire storm
system was not accessible, additional comments may follow the re -inspection.
The actions or corrections indicated above are required to be corrected prior to final civil
construction approval for the subdivision.
