The Fire Department has the following comments:
1) Residential fire hydrant spacing in the city is 600 feet per ECDC 19.25.055. The
spacing on this street is 318 feet plus 410 feet plus the street frontage width of
your lot 109 feet, totaling 837 feet between hydrants, per your civil drawings.
2) The Fire Department will require the install of a fire hydrant, main side of the
street, within the frontage of your property as a condition of your short plat
approval.
