Re_ Mosiac Salon Permit Application (BLD20140744).pdf From:Paul Griff To:Machuga, Jen Subject:Re: Mosiac Salon Permit Application (BLD20140744) Date:Wednesday, August 20, 2014 5:39:47 PM Hi Jen, Sheet A310: At this point we have no intent of replacing any portion of the canopy with glass. The architect loved the idea, but it is cost prohibitive. Sheet A300: The architect was encouraging us to put a water feature there. For cost and maintenance reasons we've decided not to do that. The space is currently a planter box and we will simply put in new plants. Please let me know if you have any other questions. I am available if there is any way I can be of help. Thanks, Paul 425.922.2815 On Aug 20, 2014, at 5:31 PM, Machuga, Jen <Jen.Machuga@edmondswa.gov> wrote: Hi Paul, I am reviewing your building permit application for the exterior improvements to the th existing building at 130 5 Ave. S (BLD20140744) on behalf of the Planning Division and have a couple of quick questions for you: -Sheet A310 states “potential work at corner of canopy: translucent glass within existing frame per structural.” Is this something that is proposed at this time, or it is something that you will possibly propose in the future under a separate building permit application? -Sheet A300 indicates a low rectangle on the eastern building façade to the left of the main entry doors (this rectangle is blue on the color elevation views). It appears this may be where the ATM had previously been located. Can you please describe what is proposed for this portion of the eastern façade? If you could please get back to me as soon as possible, I’ll be able to continue with my review. Thanks, and I hope you have a good evening!
