Leif,
I am writing to address a requirement on the subject permits. There is a requirement
noted on these permits that a Building Enclosure Inspection letter is required by final
inspection.
Per RCW 64.55.010 (6) (a) "A multiunit residential building means "A building
containing more than two attached dwelling units,". It is my understanding that the
developer never intended for this RCW to apply to this project and that is one of the
reasons why they had 3 separate permits issued — for each building to be considered a
duplex. These are not "multi unit" residential buildings and therefore the enclosure
inspection letter requirement does not pertain to this project.
I appreciate your prompt response in replying to my request that this requirement be
removed for final approval. '

Duane,
This letter is in response to your request for removal of the Building Enclosure requirements
from the above referenced permits. We have reviewed your request as well as the approved plans
for the project and are in agreement that RCW 64.55 does not apply to this project. Please
consider this letter as notification that the previously applied Building Enclosure conditions will
no longer be required under these permits.
