RE: Edmonds City Park Spraypark — Permit Review
Dear Lief:
Please see below for our response to your Plan Review Comments dated October 10, 2014:
1. Snohomish Health District has not completed its review of the project but has committed to providing a plan
review letter by November 21, 2014. Once this letter is received, we will forward to you for review and
identification/clarification of any required changes to the Building Permit documents.
2. Capital Projects Manager Ed Sibrel will be completing and submitting the required special inspection forms for
soils.
3. Handrails have been provided on each side of project stairways. See revised sheet L1.10 Layout Plan.
4. As discussed in our meeting on October 14, 2014, the mechanical building slab and foundation will be designed to
meet seismic category D. The building design and associated structural calculations will be submitted separately
upon purchase of building by City of Edmonds. The design documents and calculations reviewed during the
meeting were provided by the manufacturer as an example submittal and to clarify that building will meet seismic
requirements.
Please let us know if you have any questions or need additional information from our team to review/approve the spraypark
design.
