Cc: Lambert, Jennifer Subject: City of Edmonds - 31 pole replacement, ENG20150239 - WO# 395183 Ben, Below is a list of comments to be addressed regarding proposed placement of the utility poles. As a reminder, the city requires poles to be placed a minimum of 2' behind the curb, if a sidewalk is present, the pole should be placed behind the sidewalk. If there is no curb, the city request 10' from edge of pavement or from fog line if present. If pole placement cannot meet the city's requirements, we ask that you provide an explanation and the proposed pole location will be re -reviewed. A big concern is that the proposed pole location is not any closer to the travel lanes. Please see the comments below on the proposed pole relocates. Pole Placement A. Please show the pole and anchor located 10' from edge of asphalt. If the pole cannot be placed 10' from the asphalt, please state how far the pole can be placed and explain why the City's requirement cannot be met. B. Proposed approved. C.
