Please see the below responses to the correction notice dated March 28, 2017 for 17709 Talbot Road,
plan check number BLD20170212.
SITE PLAN (A2)
Correction #1
For proposed footing drain line, indicate if connecting to existing house footing system or if the
drain will be directed to another area. Geotech report indicates that the outfall shall be directed
away from the slope area.
Response:
Revisions have been made accordingly to sheet A2 site plan showing the location of the proposed
footing drain and its connection to the proposed dry well.
Correction #2
Provide TESC standard details (can be found on the City Website) that will be used on the site.
May include silt fence, CB inserts, covered stockpiles, etc. Show location of erosion control
measures on the site plan. Waddles may be chosen instead of a silt fence to reduce the amount
of disturbance near the slope.
Response:
Revisions have been made accordingly to sheet A2 site plan showing the location of the proposed
filter fabric fence and the standard detail has been added.
Correction #3
Splash blocks cannot be used for the stormwater discharge per the Geotech report. It states that
runoff be directed away from the slope. Please show how that will be accomplished on the
plans.
Response:
Revisions have been made accordingly to sheet A2 site plan showing the location of the proposed
tight line connecting the new downspouts to the proposed drywell.
Correction #4
Add note: Install and maintain all TESC measures according to approved plans, City of
Edmonds standard details, and all other measures that may be required during construction.
Response:
Note has been added to sheet A2.
Correction #5
Add note: "Disturbed areas to be compost amended per DOE standard detail BMP T5.13."
Rem:
Note has been added to sheet A2.
