Schools, the Edmonds School District has a need for one portable classroom at Sherwood Elementary School to support capacity needs related to a state mandated reduction in class sizes (student / teacher ratio). State guidelines for reduced class sizes for Kindergarten thru third grade requires additional classroom space. In order to successfully accomplish the educational mission and objectives of the District in accordance with applicable state and federal statues, regulation and guidelines, the District would like to provide one additional portable classroom to provide the appropriate classroom space to accommodate reduced class sizes. I hope this helps better support the need for one portable classroom. Please don't hesitate with any questions regarding this matter.
