Subject: Request for l % slope of portion of waste.

This is a formal request for permission to design a 1 % slope into an existing facility. The
plumbing contractor has performed a `camera scope' of the existing waste lines to
determine the invert elevations. Due to the expansion of this facility happening to the
north and all of the sanitary sewer going north to south, there is one line (approximately
55 feet in length) that it is necessary to route at 1% slope.
We believe that all necessary action has been performed to show that this 1% slope is
required to drain some of our plumbing fixtures. I have attached two sketches showing
the 1 % line and locations on the existing waste line that the contractor verified.
