The City Council of Edmonds is hereby requested by the
undersigned mllners of property in and around the -olat of
Broolanere to prohibit the division into ,substandard size
lots the property located on the northwest corner of the
intersection of Caspers Street and Brook -mere Drive.
It has come to our attention that a request has been made
by 10r. Don F!,nnegan to divide this -property into lots 1which
are smaller than t.hl ose of the surrounding PrO-O!rty. WO
foal that by allowing substandard lots to be developed" not,L;
only would the zoning be violated but the adjacent property
values would be decreased.
We have purchased and are developing our property in this
area vrith the belief that we were doing so in an S--12
residential zone, and that oI3r property values would be
protected by the zo ning laws of the City of Edmonds.
By allowing substandard lots to be developed we feel that
these zoning laws and our rights as citizens under these
laws would be violated.
