RE: Review comments for required trash enclosure
BLD20150294 — Salish Crossing Pavilion, 150 Sunset Ave. S, Edmonds WA
Upon further review of the proposed trash enclosure abutting the northwest corner of the existing
building, it has been finally determined to require a gate across the west side of the structure. In
an earlier conversation with the architect it was discussed that a rolling gate would be the
required type added for this proposal, instead of standard swing gates. Please indicate this
rolling gate on the detail of the enclosure and the direction in which it is rolled open (south).
The City is also noting that this new enclosure will be used for servicing containers for the
adjacent restaurant business plus the drive -up business proposed for the northeast corner of the
property only. Existing waste container service shall remain along the west side of the building
(facing the train station parking) unless a further separate enclosure is proposed in the future.
