STF2007-0017 App letter rec'd 7-10-07.pdfTo: Edmonds Bldg. Dept. Re: Use of Studor vent For the Hadfield Residence 506 6th Ave. S. Permit #2006 0619 Date: 7/8/07 This is a formal request for the use of 4 studor vents in this residence. It is possible for the construction of this residence to use standard venting in all plumbing fixtures except the following. 1. The main kitchen sink, and the vegetable sink in the kitchen Island 2. The wet bar sink in the upstairs family room 3/ The kitchen sink in the first floor living area. It is not possible to maintain structural bearing integrity, or even reach an area to get to a roof vent in these locations. The use of these vents in this application is perfect for this situation. These vents are an approved system by code standards, and are used widely in all other jurisdictions that I have worked in. We have also tried a loop vent but cannot get the correct angles for such an application. If you need further information please ask, or if you would like to meet onsite at your convenience, I can meet your schedule. Enclosed is the spec. sheet for studor vents, and the coding approvals that it meets. If you have any questions I can be reached at 425-879-2315. Also I can arrange for you to converse with either the homeowner or the plumbing contractor in this matter. I appreciate your help in this matter, Sincerely, J Z'104 Keith - KCL Enterprises 425-879-2315 Licensed General Contractor Lic.# KLENT232 DC RECEIVED J U L 10 20-01 BUILDIN DEPT.
